    Very Good

    Pros +

    • High expectations, deeply disappointing experience. Inconsistent service and poor handling of guest concerns.
    • It is a beautiful and very comfortable property, perfect size.
    • Beautiful and tranquil hotel, with lovely amenities. Loved the PJs! The breakfast was included and was good. Our room was large, clean, comfortable and nicely appointed. Very close to a Michelin recommended restaurant (5 minute walk) that served delicious Thai food. We were very full and it cost less than 500b.

    Cons -

    • Unfortunately, my experience did not match the standards advertised by this hotel. During a wellness activity, my family and I were treated very differently from other guests. Basic hospitality, clear guidance, and a welcoming attitude were lacking, which made us feel uncomfortable and led us to leave the session early. What was more disappointing was the follow-up. Despite several communications, the hotel failed to address any of the specific questions raised and instead focused on generic apologies. And there was no clear explanation or accountability regarding the inconsistent treatment. For a property positioning itself as a five-star retreat, consistency, professionalism, and genuine guest care are essential. Sadly, this experience fell far short of those expectations. I would not recommend this hotel to others, as it is not worth the time or money—there are far better options in Chiang Mai.
    • I couldn’t schedule any of the activities. The ones I tried were fully booked and the staff wasn’t accommodating. The location is not suitable for independent travelers. If you are coming to stay in the hotel or have pre planned activities including pick up, it would be okay. However it is not a place where you can just walk out of the hotel. Hard to find a Grab that is willing to come this way. Eventually we learned about other ride sharing apps.
    • While it was lovely to be just outside the main city, transportation was a bit difficult. We were outside the free pick up zone for tour excursions. We were not able to book a Grab car, so decided to book two Grab motorcycles - which turned out to be an excellent way to get around the city. We recommend this, if you dare!

    Beautiful serene setting

A bit distanced from the old town. But only a 10 min taxi ride away

    6ThitiphaPosted on: 2-20-2025

Good facilities and good and clean room. Brilliant breakfast too

The location is bad and its not easy to carry a bag to the reception. No one come to help

    8KahPosted on: 1-14-2025

Nice design and not too far from the old town.

The wardrobe and the bathroom are in the same room. Also, the bathroom door opens directly opposite the bed. If one of the guests goes to the bathroom during the night or to get his clothes, it will disturb the other guest.

    The design and the location.

    1. The staff were like smiling robots, but I couldn't sense any real happiness or care from their hearts. I'm not sure if they're just unhappy working here.2. Breakfast tastes average.

The Spa staff, best massage and sound healing.

    7MandanaPosted on: 10-28-2024

Fantastic and sophisticated bar Very good food Confortable beds and pillows

The rooms -no storage whatsoever, no long hanging space, 4 very tiny and shallow drawers, no storage or drawers in bedside tables. Frustrating. No bath, decor too modern compared to the lovely old and original building Spa massage hit and miss, one very good, the other not just due to lack of experience of young therapistThe proximity to the airport. Plane noise was loud although not extremely frequent but a bit disturbing

Really liked the service and hospitality. It was also a nice touch to have soft toy and bedtime short story booklets as part of the turn down service.

The food at the restaurant needs some work. We had to send back food several times or didn’t finish our meal because of the taste.

    10AmandaPosted on: 7-31-2024

Breakfast was excellent with high quality food, many options and great service. The dinners were also great, we sat in the bar upstairs, and the cocktails are delicious and imaginative. The spa was excellent and the service very professional.

Perhaps a few more options for vegetarians on the dinner menu.

A haven. Lovely pool and layout. The rooms were lovely - staff very helpful and food fabulous. Could t fault it.

Except the room light switches which were a bit hard to find !

    10ElviraPosted on: 5-27-2024

It has been one of the best hotels we have ever stayed in. The staff was exceptional, always willing to help, friendly and very attentive to even small details. The spa, restaurant and cocktail bar were incredible 10/10 .They all made our stay very special and we would definitely come back.I would 100% recommend everyone to come here

The pool, the staff (all very thoughtful and helped recover a lost wallet). We loved the size of the room and the (very comfy) bed. Baby bath and products left in room was a lovely touch.

There wasn't anything that we didn't like.

    10NancyPosted on: 2-25-2024

Everything was wonderful, it was exceptional 5 star service throughout. Staff are brilliant and polite, the breakfast was very good and healthy. I liked the complimentary yoga classes. Gym and pool were good. Room was amazing, really comfy bed and luxurious.

The spa treatments were quite pricey, I guess that's because they are high quality and it's a 5 star resort but they were similar to London prices!

I attended the session of""how to make thai herbal compress" held by hotel yesterday and enjoyed SPA in hotel. It's amazing experience, especially the staff Na, who impressed me so much by holding the session and doing the spa for me.I love this hotel and would like to stay longer next time.

    6EsteePosted on: 1-10-2024

The resort is new & service is great

    - pool lounge chairs are not enough for guest staying - compulsory gala dinner that's a bit hefty (6,500THB per person). this price was not disclosed on booking but was communicated prior to the stay. This is a bit too much for the location and the quality of food and drinks served

    8ShuhaoPosted on: 1-6-2024

Rooms are new, clean and comfortable and the facilities are well maintained, including the pool and the gym. Staff are quite helpful to the extent they can and when asked - we had a cable issue but was fixed eventually with help with staff. Breakfast are great with decent amount of options and not too overwelming. I much enjoyed chilling alongside the pool or balcony outside the room.Location is pretty good as well. Some airplane noise but not too bad personally. Close to nature and just a grab away from most downtown stuff.

Restaurant could be improved - we stayed for three days and some wellness bowls are never available. I ordered the only one available and it was not good. Otherwise food (besides breakfast which is great) are generally okay but not as good if you’re going to dine there more than once. Finally, I would drop the charge for local water during meals - I argued against it and got it taken off pretty easily. This is not a high-end restaurant and I didn’t order a high end water (it’s literally locally recycled glass water where you get freely in your room). Finally, staff are generally very helpful when asked but could benefit from more training and be a bit more proactive. Oh the free wellness classes are good to have but def not worth paying for (2 free ones per guest).

Place and stuff fantastic and super kind!

The room was too small and the closet was too too small

    9RainbowPosted on: 11-20-2023

The hotel design and ambience are so chill and relaxing , the location is a bit remote but you will love to staying there to enjoy various wellness activities. All staff are very friendly and two of them namely Biggie and Alfa are super nice and sweet! Breakfast is above average but it would be perfect if put some effort on the food presentation and bakery items.
